Description

Carnegie Mellon University Entertainment Techonology Center signature courses’s Build Virtual World need us to form teams with random teammates and make a world within two weeks based on a random prompt. Out prompt is “Air To Fortune,” and we were given only one week to develop the project. After a brief discussion, we decided to combine an eye tracker and a flight controller to create a cooperative experience. The core concept involved two aliens, which their job is to controlling UFO and sucking people up to make money. Another programmer and I quickly built a prototype and conducted playtests. However, the initial experience did not meet our expectations, so we introduced additional mechanics to further complicate and challenge the cooperation between the two players.
